Wishful Wednesday #11

Duh!

Belum lagi aku masih book hangover, minjem istilahnya Aul, terhadap Between Shades of Gray.

Well, she’s kinda have my respect and my attention.

Sinopsis from Goodreads

It’s 1950, and as the French Quarter of New Orleans simmers with secrets, seventeen-year-old Josie Moraine is silently stirring a pot of her own. Known among locals as the daughter of a brothel prostitute, Josie wants more out of life than the Big Easy has to offer.

She devises a plan get out, but a mysterious death in the Quarter leaves Josie tangled in an investigation that will challenge her allegiance to her mother, her conscience, and Willie Woodley, the brusque madam on Conti Street. Josie is caught between the dream of an elite college and a clandestine underworld. New Orleans lures her in her quest for truth, dangling temptation at every turn, and escalating to the ultimate test.

Yep, masih historical fiction! And i love historical fiction. I respect her efforts, and that was one of my criteria to like some author. I like every author who put ‘lots of sacrifice’ in creating their pieces. I love author who has a deep research. I Love author who had deep thoughts and purpose in their pieces their making. I love they doing that and the pieces come as good as their effort put through it. (well who don’t?)

I bet its a good book too and i hope you dont mind check the link and taste the review over this novel. Can’ wait to own this one. How bout you? What book(s) you intend to (should)have this weekend? Lets share, here the rules:
